16-10-2008 My Thought on Mr. Leary’s whatever he was trying To Say:I don't know about his, Denis Leary’s medical qualifications or life experiences that led to these “proposed” social behavioral habits being the base for these theories of having Autism. I could go out on a limb and say they are purely and I’m just speculating, ethnocentrism. But in any way by bringing Autism to the table is a good thing.
The medical condition that is being brought to the table more so then, autism, to me or what I read in this article namely is with these comments is the ”over diagnosing” of diagnosed conditions. Because studying is “immoral” to children, we have to look at what is permissible in the medical world to use children as learning tools or whatever “word” you see better to use for it. I personally believe we are never going to know the true numbers because the real cases are being mixed in with improper diagnoses.
